Persuaded by her friend in 2000 to pursue her desire to paint Ros enrolled as a part time student at Adelaide Central School of Art. While studying with like minded artists Ros was asked to join the newly evolving Twinbee studio. Ros subsequently became one of the founding members of the highly regarded Port Adelaide studio Hedgemaze. During the interval between her Batchelor of Arts degree and Honours year Ros to worked at the newly opened Samstag Museum of Modern Art. This was an invaluable and exciting experience for Ros giving her the privilege of meeting, observing and learning from leading contemporary Australian and visiting International artists. Currently Ros is a member of the Fontanelle Studio and Gallery in Adelaide working alongside friends and talented artists. Her work has always been colour driven regardless of the subject. Moving from image based representation to the freedom of mark making and interactive thought processes the instinctive actions which direct Ros are evident in her latest vibrant abstract paintings. Ros completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) at the South Australian School of Art (UNISA) 2009. Following exhibitions included the Helpman Academy Graduate Exhibition Dot Dot Dot SASA Gallery and The Kick Arse Painting Show Fontanelle Studio and Gallery.
