Terrarium Making with Meg Wilson Saturday 4th
Local artist and designer Meg Wilson introduces you to the art of building terrariums. Held in the Fontanelle workshop you’ll be able to build your own terrarium on the day to take home.
$30, Some materials required, material list provided.

Senior school Journal Workshop- With Lou Vodic Saturday 25th 9.00am to 11.00
Learn how to make your art journal as fascinating and valuable as your finished pieces, look at how artists use their journals and how to keep a journal which suits your projects and learning style. $15

Digital Stop Motion for Kids- With Lou Vodic Saturday 4th 1.00pm-3.00
Learn to make simple stop motion animation techniques using digital equipment in the Fontanelle workshop, then make a short film all together. Bring your favorite costumes and a surprise prop on the day. Workshop hosted by Lou Vodic (BA Visual Arts, MA Teaching) .$20

Painting and Colour for Kids: with artist Brigid Noone. 24th (For ages 7 -11years)1:00 – 3:00pm
This is a good class for children who love painting. This class offers painting fans a chance to develop their imagination and intuition in paint focusing on investigation with colour. Each class will introduce a new technique and approach, resulting in a creative site for learning. Price:
$30, materials included (a smock or old large shirt is recommended)

Badge Making (for kids of all ages), led by Brigid Noone, Sessions held on Saturday 18th, 2:00 – 4:00pm
Invent paint and draw your own miniature images / designs and transform them into wearable art by turning them into badges that you can wear and give.
Price: $25, materials included.

CRAFT CIRCLE: Come and enjoy a cup of tea and some stitch and textile based craft in our workshop. Starting from 3.30 pm, Tea and snacks provided, but bring a plate and a project if you feel like it. This months craft circle coincides with the launch of Julia Robinson’s upcoming exhibition in the gallery.  All ages welcome, $2.00 donation on the day.

Cross-Stitching workshop- 3rd June 6pm to 8pm
Artist Margaret Lloyd hosts an introductory course in using stitching in textile art. Learn to use stitching techniques for art making, using a number of easy to learn techniques in the Fontanelle workshop. Most materials provided, bring your own unique threads and small swatches of fabric to experiment with.
$30, materials provided.

Soft Jewellery Making – Monday 6pm 15th and 22nd Saturday 10th (one day intensive)10.00am to 2.00pm
Learn some simple non-metalworking techniques to make interesting contemporary jewellery. This workshop is hosted by Louise Vodic . $50-Most materials provided

Sculptural assemblage for kids: with artist Ben Leslie
(for ages 7-14 years) ——– June dates to be announced
An experimental adventure into contemporary sculpture and assemblage techniques. The class will be aimed at learning to play with abstract form and colour to create playful sculptural assemblages. At the end of the class each participant will have their own crazy creation made from scrap wood and recycled materials. $30 per student, materials included
